In just two days Freedom Internet crowdfunded 2.5 million Euro to bootstrap a new privacy & security aware ISP in The Netherlands.

After a week Freedom Internet hoped to have 5,000 founding members, it became 50.000!

A founding member gets for 50 euros:

• E-mail for a year on an own domain name and/or on freedom.nl.
• The guarantee that they are the first with a Freedom internet connection.
• 1 25GB mailbox on freedom.nl and/or 2 mailboxes on an own domain name. The mailboxes together use the same 25GB storage space.
• Unlimited aliases on your own domain.
• Unlimited aliases on the freedom.nl account that look like: something@accountname.freedom.nl.
• If you already have a domain name, it can linked to the Freedom account. This does not have to be a .nl domain.
• Secure webmail so that you can access your mail anywhere, anytime.
• IMAP support.

BTW, Freedom email is obtained from Soverin.

It's already available.

I have too many paid email accounts.

If they provide the account for lifetime, I would pay for 50 EUR.

Otherwise I don't want to add another payment to a service I may not really needed.
