Lifetime

I have a question about lifetime packages purchased in previous years. Are they each tied to one domain name (ie, the one specified at the time of purchase), or can the customer choose another domain name to use with the account?
Edit: While I didn't confirm it by making changes, I looked at the control panel and found the place to add domain names.

I see no evidence that I'm going to reach the point of having to consider it.

Meanwhile, I'm actually increasing overhead and doing a lot of server migrations. Aged hardware being phased out, moving servers behind our own IP space. It'll pay off in the long game.

We're still not overly profitable but that was always the plan. Profit is overrated, as long as everyone is taken care of (my paycheck is enough but nothing to brag about). The long game continues to involve slowly increasing prices for new customers in addition to slowly decreasing overhead from power, bandwidth, and hardware costs (present economic status not considered permanent). All in all I'd say it's a healthy business and customers are mostly appreciating the consistency of outbound delivery.

I’ve been thinking of migrating to you from Fastmail. The one thing holding me back was caldav support. Specifically the ability to have calendar event reminders sent by email. Roundcube plus allows for that and it seems like you’ve adopted that into the service offering?

I'd like to think Jarland didn't choose to be the email guy, but rather email chose Jarland.
But, like most people, Jarland didn't come out of the womb set on being the modern age pioneer of email.
He might have, though, it's Jarland, so you never know.
