Hi, I’m using the new interface, and got several pop links setup. How do i pull email messages into fastmail on new interface?
Thanks in advance |

Same here
I'm new to Fastmail, so I don't know if I am missing something. I did see the option in the Classic interface.
I raised a support ticket earlier today, so I will let you know what comes of it. |
I don't think you guys missed something... It's just that the "new" interface is more like a beta with most basic features...

It's in Settings/Accounts.
You have to scroll that window down to see other pop links. There is also Advanced Settings at the bottom of that window. |
The question wasn't where to find pop links settings, but where to retrieve them manually. I don't see such an option in Settings->Accounts.
|
The original OP did not ask how to fetch pop manually.
You're correct in that you cannot fetch manually in the new interface. You can set it up to check automatically at various intervals, though. Or you can (in Advanced Settings) "Test pop link" - that will show if there are any new messages than can be pop-ed. |
I received the following response, confirming what was known.

I have Classic interface. I'm trying to retrieve mail from Runbox dot com via Pop. Can anyone help? I get error messages when clicking TEST link

Have a look here to check you have the correct information to input into FastMail:

Thanks Fred. I was using wrong input. Works great now with your info.

+1 for manual retrieval in new interface.
I'm stuck with classic interface by now... Quote:

Here's another +1 for enabling manual POP link retrieval in the new interface.

After a few years, I decided to go back to fastmail and avoid gmail and the likes. The new interface is fascinating! But I spent almot half an hour trying to find the button to retrieve pop mails manually (there used to be one!). I kept clicking on refresh button hoping it would do the job. Turn out there isn't a way to manually do so! Too bad…
But still, it's much powerful than gmail :) |
