Chrome on macOS forcing fastmail to non-https address
I'm running the latest version of macOS with latest version of Google Chrome.
Chrome is now forcing all my fastmail.com traffic to a non-protected, non-https fastmail.com domain. This seems different than the fastmailusercontent thread which is why I'm reporting it separately. Fastmail on Safari is operating as expected. Malcolm |
I do not understand how accessing fastmail.com without the use of https is even possible. Might you have some kind of a malware infection. It feels as though something alarming is up with your browser. Perhaps, the url you see in the address bar is cloaked and you are really communicating through a different server.

Problem fixed. https Fastmail working fine on macOS Chrome again. I used Safari during the time period when Chrome redirected Fastmail to a non-https address. My hunch is that this problem was related to the Google fastmailusercontent warnings described in other threads.
