Email provider market share
 

The report shows regional variation in market share, though Gmail is the world leader. Surprised Verizon is #2 in USA. https://www.foxbusiness.com/technolo...mericas-choice

verizon = AOL + yahoo
the #2 is reasonable.

I wonder what the methodology is? Many of us have multiple email addresses with multiple providers, and maybe we have an old Yahoo or AOL address that exists but isn't actively used. I have numerous email addresses with different providers. Maybe that isn't the norm though.

It's by MAU (montyly active users).
once I serviced for Netease, the largest email provider in china, we must provide the MAU data to Nasdaq, since netease is a company stocked in Nasdaq. so this data is a public to everyone.
