There are many things we pour down the drain that can cause mayhem in household pipes, septic systems or municipal severs.
What do You do or dont pour down the kitchen drain? www.mashed.com/42320 I have put milk down alot... Ah man!! |
Well, I try to never have money going down the drain.
Seriously, I live in New York City, and most homes do not have garbage disposals (for a long time they were illegal), so we don't usually send anything down the drain except liquids. |
Ya...I can see why they say dont pour FATS because when it cools they get hard..... And Bones would likely mock up your blades!!

We don't have a garage disposal. I haven't looked out right but, I don't think they are available here. At least I never noticed any for sale. No one I know has one either.
That said, very small amount of some of the things mentioned go do down the drain, most often that would be rice. Not a lot a few kernels here and there, like from rinsing off a plate. Any left over in the rice cooker are mixed up with other left overs and dog food for the dogs. |

I don't watch much TV. Here is why. Watched about five minutes of Lost Gold of World War II on the History Channel a while back. What a bunch of garbage. The amazing thing, they never found it. ;) Duh... |

I also enjoyed watching Hunting Hitler on History - I thought the premise reasonable and well put together. Whether or not you believe it, it's food for thought. |
I was washing my hands the other night and the cap to the toothpaste fell down the drain.... At least I know it wont go past the trap until we can get it out!
