Down again 1/24/2018

Well it's down again I guess - can't connect to server from either my phone OR my desktop. fastmailstatus.com doesn't show any issue, but regardless, I can't connect.

http://fastmailstatus.com is now noting the issue. It is not a general problem, but only affects selected mailboxes. Your service should be restored soon.

Yup refreshed the status and I saw the update. Mail is back up again! :)
