While it was a great (i.e., simple) domain name, my impression was that they must have gotten a lot of users very quickly, as I was unable to get a halfway "decent" user name with them. Between that, and not caring much for their web interface (I gave up local clients long ago, although I can't even recall if this service was usable with same), I haven't logged into my in.com account for probably at least the better part of two years. So long, in fact, that I can't even remember what user name I eventually chose. Everything considered, I can't say it sounds like a big loss.
