How about riseup email? It seems that I can't apply.

It seems a lot of people don't like this email service.

Many reports online about people getting locked out of their accounts. I can't speak of experience, tried for may years to get an account there, never got one ...

I've one and it's very generous for a "free" email to be honest.

1GB, unlimited aliases.

However I've the same fear that @nosim mentioned above, that I've seen some people being locked out of their accounts (which I believe they have violated the t&c) so I'm hesitant to use it as my primary. The same can be said on Tuta free account too, I've seen more than several reports that their free account was locked out of nowhere without warning so I would be cautious with Tuta as well.

Disclaimer: I don't have any spare invites so please don't ask for one from me :D

It would be better if this entire thread was deleted, because they will return!

perhaps the attitude no longer matched the clearly radical views of riseup. then the ban hammer is quickly swung.

I had two riseup email accounts.
I issued invitations to two guys in forum using one account.
And my that account was banned quickly by ruseup.
So don’t give invitations easily to people you don’t know.

How does riseup know whether you know those two guys?

I assume that they keep a record of who issued an invite, and what invite was used to create an account?
Pretty easy to crosscheck.

With due respect, this does not explain how to tell whether the invitee is (or isn't) know to the inviter.

They do trace the invitation use.
If the new created email is abused,
the original invitation author will be banned.
A few riseup users have verified this.

and who guarantees that they don't read the contents of the emails. and if the contents don't correspond to their political views, then they will certainly act....

So RiseUp didn't care if jeffpan knew the two guys or not. He was "guilty" by association.

that's gloomy. a kind of "blood debt", so to speak.

the bottom line is that riseup is not recommended.
