Folders new location
Why did Fastmail change where the new folder search button is, I wonder can we move it back to the bottom as its stupid having it above the inbox.

Calendar is screwed up now too
So now FM's Calendar web UI has elements that were hidden taking up valuable real estate to the left on my small 11" and 13" devices. I want to see a whole calendar month and don't need to see my Subscriptions, Calendars, nor the mini calendar month navigator.

Perhaps the design should be a bit more responsive.
I tried to change the browser window to as small as possible and expected the left column to go away or move somewhere else when the window is too small to accommodate it. I think when the window size becomes too small the display should be like in the phone app. |
What a shame there is no option to pin or unpin it....we had it for 23 years the other way, I wonder who thinks up all these crappy things, perhaps they should take a holiday.

I just opened a case requesting that folder search always be visible no matter where it is located. Whoever answered said that they would forward it to the developers. Couldn't heard if a few more people wrote in about it.

I think this change is good because they are using icons instead of language. It helps when you're in a mulit-language environment and is always visible, which wasn't always the case when not using english.

And here's another issue...
Starting today, any .jpg attachment which I try to "save as" changes automatically it's extension to .htm

until few day ago, it was a link directly to the file (or a temporary instance of the file). Now the link show to each attachment is to another HTML page which will show the attachment in a frame inside the current page. I have a complain about it here: https://www.emaildiscussions.com/showthread.php?t=80067 |

In my chrome there is no "save as" option, only "save link as...", because it is not a link to a picture [ or pdf or whatever the attachment really is ], it is a link to another page. |

Jpg ang Pdf files don't!' |
I just click the download icon (the down arrow) as I always did and the image (or any kind of attachment) is saved (using Firefox).
