email service recommendation please

Hi. I am looking for an email service that is simple, basic, easy on the eyes and uncluttered. I don't need templates or organizers or storage space or any of the big features normally promoted by email services. This will be used very little and all I need is the ability to receive and send an email now and then. Does such a simple email service exist?

You didn't say it it had to be paid or free. I suggest Posteo. It's a paid service but they only charge $12 a year.

Yes, I have should havce included I would prefer a free service. If I can't find what I'm looking for, I'll consider Posteo. Are there any free ones you can recommend? Thanks.

Hello Jarman. What is wrong with the majors like GMail, Hotmail, and Yahoo?

...
As an alternative, here's also GMX.com .

Since the beginning of last year (2023) I've mostly trying lots of so called private email providers and it's like a merry go round. I keep coming back to OnMail (Free) and Tutanota (premium).

Also this is a good read -- E-mail providers - which one to choose? -- Don't need to get serious with it, just a reference point to justify your decision to go for or dump an email service ;)

Cheers
