help spam designation

I can't seem to find the Fastmail help file that explains how to tell the software that a message it has designated as spam really isn't. Where should I look?? Or isn't there one? That seems unlikely.

Put the sender's email address in your contacts and that sender's stuff will not be considered as spam.

Or click the "not spam" to try to train the spam filters that stuff is not spam. May take a unknown number of those emails to train the spam filters.

Or write additional Sieve code to test some consistent criteria to send it to the inbox (or where ever) and place it before section 1 in the Sieve script.

If the message is in the Spam folder, use the Not Spam button. You can also designate folders to automatically mark messages in those folders as spam or not spam. Use the Settings>Folders>Advanced screen. The help is at:

And to whitelist the whole domain, add to Contacts: *@domainname.tld

Note that you'll also need to add, perhaps as additional email addresses in the same Contact entry, additional subdomains for them to be whitelisted too:

*@email.domainname.tld
*@e.domainname.tld

(These are fictitious examples, of course.)
