Would be better if they develop offline features to their app...

Snooze?? If I want to read a mail later I'll leave it unread or put it in a folder. ;-) Quite easy.

I have been using archive since it was introduced, but now have snooze which will do the same job different name.

Personally I would prefer a few new themes with a few folder colors we could change.

Not really. Snooze will return someday the mail to the Inbox.

Snooze and archiving are very different things, when used properly. Archiving an item means "I'm saving it to be recalled someday". Snoozing is "I'm saving it for later today or tomorrow".

I was a bit skeptical at first.. I've used a "Hold" folder to pretty much do the same thing. The problem is that I often neglect looking at the folder later in the day. With snoozing the email, it automatically reappears in my Inbox to be dealt with. It's actually quite useful when I'm at work and can't (or don't want to) deal with an email until I get home.

For my personal e-mails, if I need to action but CBA doing it immediately, I just mark as unread - then deal with it later.

For my e-mails at work, I have numerous folders that e-mails are filtered into during the day - I decide if I need to action, they are marked as unread then dragged into my "Pending" folder.

This way, when I do get time to action/respond to those e-mails, I action in the time order that they arrived.

When that is done, I drag them back into their original folder(s).

I'm not one of those who immediately stop what I'm doing to read a new e-mail (9 times out of 10 they're pointless e-mails that have nothing to do with me, I just happen to be in a distribution group).

I wait for a gap in my workflow before looking at new e-mails - it's more productive.

Yes I realise that but I just quickly read the email then if its important I hit archive as I don't really need to be reminded its there.

The snooze is a good function and I am sure most will use it.

Caution...if you delete your cookies it will delete the custom save setting.

This Snooze button is in place of (much more useful for me) Spam button. Have anybody figured out how to return the Spam button?

Yes, but it's two clicks, I'd like to put Snooze to More, and Spam to the top!

Agreed. I found Report Spam, and I know its shortcut is !, but I use Report Spam fairly frequently, and I don't expect Snooze to fit in with my workflow. I think it's a fantastic feature for those who want it, but I'd love to have the option to have the Spam button prominent again.

I would love to see the settings button on that task bar.

Also an option to change the snooze name, at least you can hide that folder if required.

Snooze/Spam

Hi Verbovet et al

This goes back to Feb 2009. However, I opened my email today to discover that my Spam button had disappeared and in its place was a Snooze button.

Does a solution for the restoration of the Spam button exist?
Why did this suddenly happen after decades of Snooze's absence?!!!

Happy to receive any useful help on this topic.

Regards
Lojong
