Do you recommend that we MILK all those poor silkworms of their prized product?

Malc 44 4 Sep 2009 09:15 PM

I think it was just a MILD recommendation

n5bb 5 Sep 2009 01:04 AM

But don't we like WILD stories in this thread?

sterdeus 5 Sep 2009 01:29 AM

I used to like wild, but, as with my other hobbies, my interest will WILT away.

janusz 5 Sep 2009 04:15 AM

WILL it? .....

Malc 44 5 Sep 2009 04:23 AM

WELL I think it probably will

sterdeus 5 Sep 2009 05:05 AM

Please, do TELL.

n5bb 5 Sep 2009 07:33 AM

Shall I YELL at you?

SusanUKF 6 Sep 2009 01:06 PM

You could ring a Bell

n5bb 6 Sep 2009 02:57 PM

Yes, BILL could ring a bell, but Mike Oldfield did it so much better with Tubular Bells 36 years ago.

My, the age of this amazing video makes me feel old -- I remember how this captivated everyone when it first was played on the relatively new FM radio stations back then. Notice the 1973's hair -- I was a university student and mine was similar. I think this is one of the musical masterpieces of the last 100 years, and was done with acoustic instruments. If you haven't heard the complete piece (The Exorcist only used a portion) please do your ears a favor and listen to the complete masterpiece. There are hidden joys to be found in all sections:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Bill

SusanUKF 6 Sep 2009 09:34 PM

Good music Will always survive the ages.

Yes, Bill, the classic masterpieces are still going strong, I love the 80's music so much still; and my children, 3 of which are now teenagers, all love those songs as well!

:D Susan.

n5bb 7 Sep 2009 03:18 AM

Yes, most music will WILT after a short time and rarely be heard again.

janusz 7 Sep 2009 04:50 AM

If all you want is to WILE away a Sunday afternoon, most music is good enough.

n5bb 7 Sep 2009 07:52 AM

Why don't we all listen to some VILE music. ;) (Kurt Vile, of course)

SusanUKF 7 Sep 2009 09:34 AM

Some of the new music I would use to Tile
the floor with.

(the cd's as tiles as it were....)

:D Susan

n5bb 7 Sep 2009 10:41 AM

There is a lot of good new music being created (even for a baby boomer like me), but I buy my music via MP3 FILE downloads from Amazon and other sites. CD's are so physically ...LARGE... (tiling your hypothetical floor)

 Bill

janusz 7 Sep 2009 03:37 PM

How many CD's and how many mp3 files do you need to tile a square MILE of your floor (assuming you own a super-large house, of course :p)??

n5bb 7 Sep 2009 03:53 PM

Well, I guess it would take a pretty big PILE of them!

janusz 7 Sep 2009 04:02 PM

Trying to work out how many files are in a pretty big pile gave me a terrible headache... I will take a PILL and take a rest for a while.

n5bb 7 Sep 2009 04:30 PM

I just starting taking pills for a newly diagnosed disease (true story). The pain from the shingles may KILL me before the medicine takes effect.

SusanUKF 7 Sep 2009 09:33 PM

Surely, the medicine Will work and help you feel better soon!

I hope you feel better soon.

:D Susan

n5bb 8 Sep 2009 10:39 AM

The WILE of viruses is amazing. Thanks for the good wishes!

Bill

SusanUKF 8 Sep 2009 01:07 PM

Walking a Mile a day is great exercise, and can build up our immune systems.

:D Susan

n5bb 8 Sep 2009 01:15 PM

That works for MICE also.

SusanUKF 8 Sep 2009 01:17 PM

Eating Rice is also meant to be very good for us.

:D Susan

n5bb 8 Sep 2009 02:18 PM

Then you can RACE a kilometer.

janusz 8 Sep 2009 03:08 PM

... at your own PACE.

n5bb 9 Sep 2009 10:55 AM

Maybe we can PARE it down to a hundred meters.

SusanUKF 10 Sep 2009 11:55 AM

We can also take our dogs for a walk in the Park.

:D Susan

hadaso 10 Sep 2009 04:23 PM

A walk in the park
I've got to get some sense back into my head
I'm in the DARK and I can't see where I am being led ...

janusz 10 Sep 2009 04:26 PM

Can you hear a LARK singing in the park?

n5bb 10 Sep 2009 04:33 PM

Who knows what evil might LURK in dark corners of the park?

hadaso 10 Sep 2009 04:39 PM

Someone you meet there might LURE you into something you didn't really want ...

janusz 10 Sep 2009 04:47 PM

Not every stranger you meet in dark corners of the park has PURE intentions

n5bb 10 Sep 2009 04:54 PM

Beware the PURR from the large cat in the shadows.

janusz 10 Sep 2009 05:04 PM

If you are brave enough and suitably equipped, you could SPUR the large cat.

CyberSmurf 10 Sep 2009 07:00 PM

Would you SPAR with the cat?

janusz 10 Sep 2009 07:55 PM

Dunno.... I guess any SPAT with the big cat would end very soon, on terms very unfavourable to me

n5bb 11 Sep 2009 08:49 AM

For example, don't SPIT on the cat.

SusanUKF 11 Sep 2009 09:39 AM

Don't take Pity on the cat either, he can defend himself well enough.
