Fastmail down entry on www.fastmailstatus.com

In the entry dated 2 Oct 2018 06:42:41 UTC, there are some characters that my browser will not render. I get boxes where the character should be. See screen-shot at link. My browser is version 69.0.3497.100 of Chrome on Windows 10.

Character encoding?

It doesn't render correctly in Firefox either.

I assume the text was copied (from where ever) and that there were extra characters that became visible when pasted in to the status page.

The problem exists at the server end. There is no way of solving it by changing the client operating system or browser or their settings.
