I was able to fix the problem. Take off the "/" from the "Host" field.
It was: "dav.messagingengine.com/"
Now it should be "dav.messagingengine.com".
Re-upload your bookmarks and THEN you can...

I myself have never had a problem with Thunderbird sending copies of outgoing e-mail to my FastMail "Sent" folder. On the other hand, when connecting to another mail server I use that is much slower...
