* the city of Leuven has a law allowing fines for buskers singing out of key
* dogs, horses and oxes can be called to the army to pull army vehicales (a sort of unused military draft for animals!)
* a law forbidding immigrants from holding a dove or pigeon was only recently abolished
* bailiffs are prohibited from seizing certain animals of one's lifestock
