Have you deleted them with Outlook only?
I did not use it myself but I remember Outlook having problem with Expunge IMAP command, so it was only marking them as deleted but not actually deleting them.
Unless the deletion is not yet replicated across all 3 distributed copies...
A quick e-mail to EuMX support would help them to iron the bugs prior the official release.
