None of the above: I saw the @fastmail.fm part of someone's address (on the K-meleon web browser development mailing list) and was curious. I hadn't heard of it before and had no idea what the .fm was for (so I looked that up too). A day or two later I had a guest account. A month later I had a member account. A month later I had a full account.
