I've lost access to a gmail account permanently because of an IP change. Despite jumping through numerous hoops I was never able to recover the account. Thankfully I have phone verification on my important accounts now.
Most of these big providers are not cut out for anonymous accounts. Lots of others around for that.

If one is constantly on the road, travelling (maybe for a couple of months a year) logging in to an account daily (from wherever) - would you recommend to
not use a GMail account.
Or am I misunderstanding......
