That happened some years ago. Both AOL and Yahoo are run by a company named Verizon Media (previously named OATH) which is a subsidiary of Verizon. Also since AT&T internet uses Yahoo's servers then AT&T's email is controlled by Verizon Media as well. If you are using any of these services I recommend reading over Verizon Media's TOS particularly section 5 which covers the information they collect.
