I don't think opinions on the name of the domain is particularly relevant to the query raised in this thread. Over the years I have received email from many email addresses with crazy domain names like
google. or
rackspace or
hushmail or
live or a myriad of others. If the email is relevant and not spam, I open it regardless of what characters may appear in the email address.
