On first glance. No thanks.

I prefer the opposite approach, have my e-mail client check my e-mail service daily. I am notified when it's down. When it starts working again I know it's backup. Mind you, that down is a rare situation with my current active e-mail accounts.

I don't need an questionable service that notifies me when it's up.
