A lot of people have been clamoring for that, and a lot of users of Authy love it! I share your skepticism, but on the other hand I remember how painful it was the last time I switched apps and had to change all of 7 two-factor accounts. Imagine if you had several dozen 2FA accounts to reset when you changed a phone or changed an app!
