I agree. Since a username is half the 'process', it is very important not to use the same one all over the place. However, I use the same one in too many of the same places, even though I know I shouldn't. I guess since I use strong passwords, and even 'passphrases' sometimes, I somewhat lack in this procedure. I do have a different username for logging into a few places, like my bank and other places important places like that. In the 100+ places I have to log into though I have the same username. I should change them where I can, and have for quite a few hundred years intended to. Maybe that'll be a good New Year resolution.. I quit smoking a bit over six years ago, maybe this would make me sleep even better.
