When I send emails using Thunderbird (v1.0), they often (but not always) fail to copy into the IMAP Sent Items folder. The progress box appears, but the email never actually gets copied.

Other people seem to be having similar problems on the Thunderbird forums. There is a lengthy thread

But no one over there seems to have a solution which works (although they have a partial solution for people who are only having trouble with sent emails which have Word attachments).

I'm a full fastmail member. My settings are:
Server port: 993
Use SSL
Outgoing SMTP port: 465
Use SSL

This problem is driving me up the wall. Sometimes it works, but often it doesn't. Does anyone have any ideas?
