Messages OK

Thanks but all the messages are readable and 'OK' - I sent them myself from another machine.
Could port 110 be blocked in some way? As I said, I am receiving notification of messages being queued for download on both Pop and IMAP - but I get a time-out from both Mail and Entourage before anything is received. Also, Bluebottle pop works OK!
Edit - I have a PC on the same network that is receiving PoP fine from Runbox. The Mac is new, running all the latest versions and I have no virus or firewall systems that could block Runbox. However, I have had a router/port conflict recently and hence my query whether a different port might work
