Is MySpace no longer functioning for music?

I realise MySpace lost a lot of its impact since the rise of Facebook. I still visit MySpace now and then because some unsigned bands I like that used to operate in pre-FB times never created a FB page (they had split up by then) but their MySpace page is and remains online, which is the one place where you could still listen to their songs (the bands were unsigned and other than a demo temporarily available in limited numbers, no records were released)

Lately I don't manage to play any songs anymore. When I click the song on the bands' MySpace pages, the songs are added to my playlist on bottom of the page, but no music is starting to play. Is this due to my browser or connection, or does anyone else have problems playing music on MySpace?

I realise MySpace is no longer widely used, but those archived pages of unsigned bands include some true gems that would have no places to be heard once MySpace vanishes. Those songs are still floating around there, while those bands split up before Facebook came, and their songs are (with a minority of exceptions) not on YouTube neither. Ordering the albums is impossible since the bands are unsigned and only had a limited copies of demos for sale at concerts prior to splitting up.
