I don't think that's correct. Fastmail.ca MX records currently point to the same in1-smtp.messagingengine.com 66.111.4.xx (NYI) and in2-smtp.messagingengine.com 185.68.120.xx (NL) servers as FastMail.com (and the other Fastmail domains). The A records also cause
http://FastMail.ca to redirect to the Fastmail.com website.
