Hello all.
I didn't even know there was a Fastmail forum, but I've found it now and it looks
interesting. I shall be sure to pop back.
Just wanted to say thanks for a really great email service.
I've been using it since 2001 I think it was.
Never had any problems (touch wood).
I used the free service and went out of action for a little while and when I returned
Fastmail was still there. I can't say I noticed much of an improvement coz it always
worked flawlessly (at least for me) anyway ;-))
When I say I went out of action - let me clarify - it wasn't Fastmail, but me not
having any internet for a year or two.
A little while back I took out the basic package and I am very happy with it.
I plan on upgrading and getting another account at some point soon.
Anyway, I love the service and everything about it. It is the best email I've used.
I have done a bit of web design and programming myself, so I like to think I know
a little bit about these things.
I am also an avid Opera fan, and was pleasantly surprised to find the nice bright
Opera logo one day when I logged into Fastmail. I don't know why - call me shallow ;-).
I use PC's and not Apples though, so I can't be that shallow. ;-).
Just kidding - I do use Apples in a studio I sometimes work at - love them - just
can't afford one.
Opera is a brilliant browser and whilst not totally perfect, it is the most perfect one
for me for my uses. I am not a big user and don't do too much adventurous stuff -
but what I do do, i.e. sending attachments etc.; works perfectly.
That's all I wanted to say really.
Thanks for a great email service - I do recommend it as the 'only' email to consider
to new people starting out, when I occasionally get the chance.
I like to build computers for fun and also enjoy bringing back other peoples otherwise
dead machines, or even just putting in a bit of extra ram for them. I suppose I am
shallow when it comes down to it ;-).
I'm gonna go now but I promise to have a good look around here and let you know
what I think.
Thankyou Fastmail, Warpmail, AND I suppose Opera. Good move on everyone's part.
Cheers.
