Should update this: used to have 3 dogs and 2 cats in my late teens and early twenties. Due to age (and in one case cancer) they died one after another, the last one having passed last year. My family luckily agreed to get a new pet in the house, so we are now proud owners of an adorable chihuahua puppy. 4 months old now, and very hyperactive
Our previous dogs all made it to 12 or 13 years old, we of course hope our new dog will be with us for at least the same number of years, preferably even longer. He demands a lot of energy though, he just won't stop playing around
