I deleted the cookies for
www.fastmail.fm and mail.messagingengine.com, quit IE and reopened the browser. I still have to log in twice and get the same message:

The only way I've found to avoid the double log in is to check "Save password." This is annoying because I like to avoid reaching for the mouse.
