If you manually forward vs. "send a copy" (or redirect using Sieve), the behavior
is different:
Manually: The "From:" field is from the
forwarding email address. Like in every email program I've ever used.
Auto: The "From:" field is from the
original email address. Which I've never seen before Fastmail.
In fact, the autoforwarding behavior strikes me as kind of odd. So if John invites me to a party without addressing me by name and I have it autoforwarded to Bob, it will seem to Bob that John wrote him directly, inviting him.
