Exclamation NHS cyber-attack: lessons need to be learned

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-39906019

Although that article has a glaring error

Quote:
It has been reported that up to 90% of NHS hospitals are still using the Windows XP programme[sic]
For a start, it's "program" — a "programme" is something on TV. And WinXP is an operating system, not a program.

My usual hospital (King's College London) was using WinXP as late as December 2014. Fortunately, they have now switched to Win7, which as far as I know doesn't suffer the flaw which the crackers exploited, so I for one am (probably) safe — for now.
