How to fix Gmail address auto complete 2021

When composing a new email in Gmail my contacts are no longer suggested. My Gmail no longer recommends my contacts when starting to type their email address into the To: field. What is the fix?

In that case then try clearing the cash and cookies (or just the specific google cookies) in your preferred browser.

If you're going to copy, at least change the wording a little bit.
