Gmail and Outlook Express - won't send!!!!!!?
I have set up my gmail account in OE fine and has been working fine.
I then go to set up my Gmail (for my domain) for which I would like to send from OE also. I have copied most of the settings from my main account which works in OE fine, to my newer account and confirmed that i can send emails from my gmail for my domain account, for which I can do fine in the gmail webpage. When I set up my account in OE, the emails wont send!! I get this error : An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'test from IMAP', Account: "my email address", Server: 'smtp.gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.0 Mail Sending denied. s8sm4206215uge.30', Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69 I have tried POP and IMAP and get the same error - I have tried changing the SMTP field but to no avail? I have pop and imap enabled in the account and done everything!!! Can Anyone help? |

I take it that you are using Google Apps?
I've never used it, but my guess is that you have to go into GMail webmail and set up sending from your domain address. http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/...56&ctx=sibling |

Make sure the login address is your domain username or address, not your Gmail address. In outgoing server authentication, make sure you are using your domain authentication.
