iCloud calendar sync
Hi
I'm trying to sync my iCloud calendars with Fastmail. I have got an app specific password from iCloud. Connections seems fine. I get the calendar list ok. I can choose what calendars to sync. Then nothing... Later the FM account shows an error message indicating that 'Could not sync. Calendar is private'. Any pointers to what I have done wrong? /michael |

I've had recurring problems like yours and for now I've given up trying. FM says that the problem in my case is that Apple won't sync if there are appointments longer than one line. Whatever the problem, I have started a CalDav sync with Google's calendar and the sync works fine with iCloud.

I couldn't sync with the dedicated iCloud calendar interface.
At the end of the page you can choose to connect to google, iCloud or other caldav services. I tried to connect to iCloud. The connection seems to be correct but it never synced the calendars. After your post I thought that I should try "other caldav" and it worked |

It varies among users. i did the following:
* Open icloud.com in a web browser and go to your calendars. * Click on the 'wireless' icon to the right of the name of the calendar you want to use. The calendar you want to use must be shared. If it's not, you'll be presented with the option there. Once the calendar is shared, note the name of the server right after webcal:// (example: p02-www.icloud.com) |
