Need to restore Contacts

Hello,

My Contacts are all snarled up. Can Fastmail do a restore? Thanks for any assistance.

Maybe, maybe not. I would think not. A member here may have a better answer, or you could open a service ticket and ask support directly. Good luck.

Fastmail automatically backs up your mail (only). Messages which are permanently deleted (such as deleted from the Trash folder) and deleted folders are backed up for at least a week, and you can recover them from the Settings>Restore from backup screen. See:

Other data (Contents, Notes, Files, calendars, etc.) can not be restored directly by the user. But some (maybe all) of this data (such as your Contacts, I believe) can often be restored if you file a Fastmail support ticket. You need to do this as soon as you notice a problem, since I think that as a minimum they can only recover data from the past 7 days.

I suggest users occasionally download ALL their contacts using export contacts...
