Email Service Suggestions For a Couple
Using our own Domain, we would like an email service for both my wife and myself, but don't want to spend too much.
Right now for Fastmail, that would be $10 a month, which is way too much. We would like two email accounts under the same domain. Husband@ourdomain.com Wife@ourdomain.com Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Transfer your domain to Gandi, and make use of their free 2 x 3 GB storage e-mail accounts:
https://www.gandi.net/en/domain/email All you're paying each year is for renewal of the domain. |

Migadu gives you unlimited mailboxes on their plans. The free plan only allows sending ten emails per day, but is otherwise pretty robust. $4 a month gets you 100 emails a day plus unlimited email storage. It is also entirely possible to send and receive domain email from your free Gmail accounts after forwarding the emails via your domain host. I have done that for years and it works pretty well.

Gandi is great.
Also consider Yandex, Zoho, Mail.ru etc, they are free. |

Gandi sounds like a good solution. Quite a few domain hosts offer email services. I have used Namecheap's and Porkbun's. They are both reasonably priced, fairly bare bones, but seem to be reliable. Porkbun charges $20 per year per mailbox with 10GB of storage.

If $20 per year I would suggest Hover, which is owned by Tucows. the later is a quite big company. Tucows owns OpenSRS, ENOM etc. A lot of big companies have been using their email hosting service, such as UK2.net.

Hover charges $5 per forwarded address on hosted domains, which is ridiculous. Many other hosting companies include at least some free forwarding. Maybe their email is great, but check the features and terms carefully.

Uk2.net's free service was discontinued I think a month or so ago.
