NetDrive no longer working

Hi all,

I've had great success with NetDrive on every computer I've used it on so far.

I'm using NetDrive v4.1.

It was working fine on my desktop (XP Pro 5.1 build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 service pack 2).

When I installed it on my new laptop (XP Pro 5.1 build 2600.xpsp.060315-1524 service pack 2), it doesn't work so well. I can map a drive and bring up the root directory, but as soon as I go into a subdirectory, Windows Explorer crashes (error message is: Windows Explorer has encoutnered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience) and I have the choices debug or close. The detailed info is:

Error signature: AppName explorer.exe AppVer 6.0.2900-2649 ModName ntdll.dll ModVer 5.1.2600.2180 Offset 00010370.

Any ideas? I really like being able to map a drive to FM!

Thanks

Have you been able to fix this problem? I wanted to try WebDAV and have exactly same problem, even same offset. Tried with another server so it's not FM related.

Unfortunately, no. I just gave up on it. If you come up with a solution, please post it here!

It has been working fine for me. My XP update looks more recent than yours; mine is: 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254 : Service Pack 2. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I haven't noticed any failures with previous updates. I'm using NetDrive 4.1.862.
