Android app not so snappy lately

Over the last few days (maybe a couple of weeks?) the Fastmail Android app on my phone (Samsung J5 Pro) seems to be taking long times to refresh lists, switch between screens, etc.
Should I be looking for a local problem, or have others here (using the Android app) noticed similar slow downs lately?

yup same here, file a bug report, i did

I gave up on the app and I tried FairEmail instead.
It worked so well, I bought the Pro version.
You can find the free and paid versions at GooglePlay.
