Help To Login With Domain Name
I have a enhanced account where I login with my ID xxx@sent.com.
I have two domains hosted at Fastmail. Both working very well. My question is can I login with my domain ID as xxx@mydomain.tld ? What is the procedure? Do I have to open seperate accounts to sign in this way? Please advise |

See Webmail login at this Fastmail blog entry. As long as the DNS resolves the subdomain mail.yoursite.xxx URL to Fastmail, you can log in that way. It redirects to your normal login, so it's not a big deal. You have only one mail store (Inbox, etc.) for an individual account (Enhanced).

FYI, if you're account name is sam AT sent. com, and your domain is setup so http://mail.example.com points to us, then you'll have to login using your full username sam AT sent. com.
If you use a family or business account, and create your account as sam@example.com, and your domain is setup so http://mail.example.com points to us, then you can login with just "sam". Basically, if account-domain=login-url-domain, then you can skip the domain part, otherwise you have to use it. Rob Mod Live email addresses fixed. Last edited by Sherry : 3 Jun 2009 at 01:51 AM. |
