good cloud drives?

Hi !
I would like to know which are the secure cloud drives available. I need at least 25 GB of space and I am willing to pay.
Which of them do you use?
Dropbox, Gdrive, onedrive and icloud?
How about Eumx webdrive?
Thanks,

Why dont you try the cloud of mail.ru. It comes free with every mail.ru account. Mail interface can be set in English.

It's is 100 gigs...and free. IMHO it works like a charm. This is very hard to beat. They also have an app for Android and iOS.

Dutchie.

Mega: https://mega.nz

Yandex Disk: https://disk.yandex.com

Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com

If you don't like any of the above, there's a list of alternatives here: http://alternativeto.net/software/dropbox/

Mega seems attractive. With 50GB space for a free account. And a desktop client. Thanks.
Have you used it? What is your experience?

What about pogoplug, a very good service with unlimited storage for a very fair price.

Have you heard of Syncthing? (www.syncthing.net)

It's one of the best recent softwares I've come across. I've been using it for a few days and I'm quite happy. I'll have to buy a raspberry pi in order to have it as an always-on machine and so it'll essentially be working as a server.

i went through their website. It needs a server that is online all the time, no? That makes it inconvenient. Or am I missing something.?

If the service allows file access by logging into the website, either the client doesn't encrypt your data before upload or they have your key, and you don't have optimal security.

So that means popular ones like dropbox and gdrive are not secure? They do allow access to our files by logging into their website.
Which are the secure ones then?

Yes, Mega is pretty cool. The only problem with it is that it says in the T&Cs that your account might be deleted if you don't log in for 3 months, which isn't very much time if you're not constantly loading things on there. I've tried Yandex Disk too, which seems good. The attractive thing about Yandex is they have a long inactivity period - they only delete your account after 24 months of inactivity.

You can have a free website with Google App Engine and storage as well.

It's decentralized yes. If you want to sync from laptop to desktop, you need to have both of them online. If you had a third PC for redundancy (an always-on raspberry pi, banana pi, or even a smartphone), then you pretty much have a dropbox alternative, but better.
