The Road Runner runs so many LAPS around the Coyote he will never get caught; even with all the Coyote's ACME traps.

Just watching the Road Runner run SAPS my energy.
And on a sad note, I accidentally ran over an actual road runner on White Sands Missile Range in southern New Mexico this week. The bird attempted to run across the road just a few feet in front of my rental car, and I didn't have time to react before I felt a bump and saw feathers in the rear view mirror. |

Aww, I am sorry to hear that Bill; but atleast you attempted to DASH out of the way and accidents are just unavoidable sometimes.

I'm sorry that we had a road runner MASH, but I had less than a second to react.

When the road runner made it's unfortunate last run across the road, I was just a few miles from NASA suborbital (sounding rocket) launch complex 36 on WSMR post road 2 (Nike Road -- closest Google maps view outside the secure area). As you can see, it's a rather desolate area.

Where it is desolate, one could look around and say, "NADA".
