Thanks - but I still can't set it - TypApp - up. It goes to checking incoming server settings for a few minutes and then error message. Do I have to "manually" set it up, entering Port etc.? |

This is so frustrating. The only email app i can get to work with fastmail is the one from Russia. All the others won't establish a connection.

https://www.fastmail.com/help/techni...sandports.html In addition to using webmail and the iOS app on Apple devices, I also use the Apple Mail iOS app on mobile devices and both Thunderbird and Outlook on a PC. Bill |

Thanks to Bill here I finally set up a fastmail account on an Android email app, something called Edison Email (good reviews), but what a hassle! I would never have figured out how to do it on my own.

And now after all that it (edison email) doesn't transmit my emails properly!
Why am i paying for Fastmail anyway? I think i was better off with free email. |

Too bad you are having a poor experience. I don't have an Android device, so I can't give you any direct experience on that platform. The Fastmail iOS app works great for me, as well as the website (with Windows PC browsers) and email clients (iOS Mail, Thunderbird, and Outlook).
I suggest that you give Fastmail direct input (via support requests) about their Android app, since they seem to be interested in improving it. Bill |

I use Aqua Mail Pro on Android (phone and tablet) and have not had any problems either installing or using. The interface is clean, simple and intuitive in my opinion. Certainly a huge improvement over the current FastMail Andriod app. I'm encouraged to hear that it will be receiving a make over in 2018.
