How to delete all emails older than 2 years?

Hello, I have a lot of old emails in my Gmail inbox that I don't need anymore. I want to delete all emails that are older than 2 years, but I don't know how to do that. I tried to use the search function, but it only allows me to filter by date range, not by age. Is there a way to delete all emails older than a certain date? If there isn't any possible way, I have to do it one by one and it will take forever to delete over fifty thousand emails

Do you mean "filter by date range", or sort by date range?

If you can filter by date range then there shouldn't be a problem.
Assuming that you have archived (moved out of your inbox) all messages that you wish to keep.
In webmail use the search ...
Quote:
older_than:2y in:inbox
After clicking the checkbox at the top left a bar will appear.
Quote:
All 50 messages on this page are selected. Select all messages that match this search
Click on "select all messages".

Alternately you can use a search like ...
Quote:
before:2022/01/01 -in:keep -in:important
Replace "keep" with any label for messages that you don't wish to delete. Remember to include the minus sign ("-") before īn" for labels that you wish to keep..

See https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7190?hl=en for "Search operators you can use with Gmail".

Using Gmail's webmail I would just select Allmail, then select the box that says Any Time and adjust for a custom range. Once I had selected all the emails older than 2 years I would just select all and delete.

yes, nearly 50,000. Unfortunately, there are a lot of spam mails and I had to unsubscribe all of them
