Is it implied that we shouldn't continue to BEAT the super hero subject to a pulp? Of course, many of the dear readers may be too young to remember James T. West (not to be confused with James E. West, who was a real hero to everyone who uses a microphone) or Napoleon Solo or John Steed.

It brings a TEAR to my eye thinking about a duck being shot by one of those protagonists. But it might be hard to tell for sure that it was truly a teal, since the early episodes were in black and white.
