Ignore phishing messages
I just received a phishing message to a Fastmail alias (not the main address) which used a spoofed From address trying to fool recipients into assuming it was from Fastmail staff. So be sure to ignore messages with subjects similar to: Final Notice : Complete Your Email Address Verification To Avoid Termination.

The sender is not the sole criteria you can use to block messages. It would be technically feasible, but very difficult, to block almost all phishing messages crafted to appear to come from Fastmail staff.

A reminder that Fastmail provides a specific feature to report phishing emails in addition to the spam reporting feature. The phishing reporting feature is in the Actions menu when reading a message. I assume that they wouldn't have added that feature unless they look over such messages which are reported to them.
