anybody got their share of flu yet?

hi people,

just wondering if any of you got your share of sickness this year

my nephew just made me took my daughter to the doctor with 103.5F fever. I'm waiting for the flu culture, the nurses said they'll let me know tomorrow. I hope she just got a sore throat. I myself got a whole body ache, a slowly throbbing headache, sore throat, and weird feeling in the stomach. my hubby got the headache and sore throat. I don't know what my nephew passes to us, but it's BAD! his mom (my hubby's sis) insist that her son just have a "mild asthma attack" and we don't need to worry that his coughing will spread something. .....funny, 3 people is sick 2 days after his 5 hour stay here..... is it still categorized as a mild sickness that won't spread anything bad?

Yep. I spread it to my family in a matter of days. Fortunatly, my immune system appears to be running fairly well, I was over it in 3 days, while the rest of my family (same type) had it for a week and got the worst of the symptoms.

I'm much more prepared this year. I get it every year invariably.

I've never had flu in my entire life. The kind of infection you get every year is not flu.

My kids had it bad for a week and a half. But strangely I didn't get it. YAY. I've been popping vitamin C since early winter. And as soon as they got sick I started on the hot tea with echinecea...just in case.

I'm SO glad my husband didn't get it. He's worse than the kids when it comes to getting sick...

I'm like that too? Hoping to not catch it

one feel so utterly unsure of if it really helps using C. I tested it some 5 years ago but was too lazy to be consistent.

BBC has had? or it could be Nova or Discovery Channel?

they had a Documentary on such Vitamin cures and they didn't support it.

What if the faith in cure is the working thingy. They report that if a couple is happy together then they get well aster than if they are unhappy with a lot of row going on.

At least with healing of small scars. The healing feeling of feeling loved?

I haven't had flu, but then I had my annual flu jab in October...

I have had a cold, in fact I think I'm on my second one; yesterday I woke up with a splitting headache, sore throat and high temperature; so I took two ibuprofen, which are both analgesic and antipyretic.  Today I still have a slight sore throat and temperature, but no headache.

I've been off work with it all last week, laid up in bed Sun-Wed. I get it every year but I seem to get it for longer these days. I'm putting flu on my sick form when I get back to work, I don't know what it is I get, I'm not a doctor. Mind you they don't know either, I got a doctor's note once, a few year ago and he just put on it "Flu like illness".

Thumbs down Re: anybody got their share of flu yet?

I am attempting to stave off the icky feeling that I have by taking it easy tonight. It helps that it's raining outside.
