Notifications for messages going to folders - Page 2

MY conclusion
===========

After a few weeks of trying labels, I have concluded that labels are better than folders, at least for my way of using fastmail. Here is why:

an email can be labelled say "Banking" by a sieve rule. Once it arrives in the inbox the badge count on the app reflects I need to read a message, so I read it and click archive, it still has the "Banking" label.

Whereas with folders the sieve rule will put the email into the banking folder and I may not "see" it for some days as the application badge count is not telling me there is an unread email (badge count only reflects unread inbox emails, for me this is a BUG but its been this way for years so I don't see any fix coming soon or ever maybe )

So labels it is.
